HOW TO SET UP FACEBOOK BUSINESS MANAGER

Facebook Business Manager solves many business issues concerning user permissions and access by bringing everything into one main location for an administrator. Facebook Business Manager can be a great place to manage all of the Facebook advertising activities. The problem is that it's not exactly intuitive. Here is a step-by-step guide for setting it up.

ADD YOUR FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE

Go to business.facebook.com and click on the create account button at the top right. Enter your business details, and then confirm your account.

You can create a new Facebook business page or add an existing Facebook business page. If you manage Facebook pages for other businesses or clients, you can request access.

To add the Facebook business page, click on the page on the Business Manager dashboard. Then, click on the add page again in the pop-up window. Type the name of your page in the textbox and click on the add page.

ADD YOUR FACEBOOK ADVERTISING ACCOUNT(S)

If you already use Facebook ads, you can link the existing ad account. To create a new Facebook ad account, click add ad account from the Business Manager dashboard. Then, click create an account. Specify that you are using the ad account for your business and click create. To access the customer account, click request access.

Please note that once you add your ad account to Facebook Business Manager, you will not be able to delete it. Therefore, it is especially important that you only add accounts that you own.

CONNECT BUSINESS PARTNERS OR MARKETING AGENCY

On the Business Manager dashboard, click on business settings in the top right and click partners. Under the partner option, click on add.

It's very important that your partner has a Business Manager ID. The newly added business can manage permissions for people in their own teams from their Facebook Business Manager account.

Once setup is complete, you can use Facebook Business Manager to track all of your pages and ads (or your clients' pages and ads, for those agencies).

If you are serious about Facebook marketing and advertising, Facebook Business Manager can be a great tool for keeping organized. Whether you manage Facebook for your own business or manage social media clients through a marketing agency, Business Manager can make teamwork easier and safer.
